The stars of Hendrick Motorsports rewound the clock at Darlington Raceway and paid tribute to the sport’s past heroes with four incredible throwback paint schemes. Kyle Larson’s No. 5 car was inspired by the 1984 livery of the late Tim Richmond. Chase Elliott’s NAPA Chevrolet sported a design that emulated the No. 52 car of Jimmy Means. William Byron’s iconic No. 24 car hearkened back to Jeff Gordon’s 2007 blue-and-red flames livery, while Alex Bowman’s Ally Chevrolet celebrated Mark Martin’s 1993 Southern-500 winning ride. Now both new and longtime fans of Hendrick Motorsports can add the 1:64-scale die-cast replicas of all four Hendrick Motorsports Darlington throwbacks to their NASCAR collections.
